JMI in The Wall Street Journal

In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the struggle to advance free-market principles in the face of government overreach must continue.

As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds, we can all have a positive impact on those around us. JMI created an infographic that they shared with their members through e-mail blasts and social media with tangible tips to help our neighbors during the crisis. Additionally the James Madison Institute  shifted the focus of its podcast, “Pundits on the Porch,” to discuss the coronavirus with members of the Florida Legislature, doctors, stakeholders, and other experts.

Respecting social distancing guidelines, JMI also launched a video series called “Policy Gone Viral.” JMI uses the technology of the day to provide short commentaries, research highlights, hopefully some humor, and even some face-to-face interaction. Social distancing doesn’t mean social seclusion. You can find all of the episodes here.

Additionally, JMI’s Sal Nuzzo was in The Wall Street Journal outlining Florida’s leadership in developing healthcare policies to fight against COVID-19.
