The coronavirus pandemic and related school closures have left many parents scrambling to find suitable education options for their children.
The latest poll results indicate the majority of Americans think students affected by public school closures should receive their portion of funding so they can pay for an alternative education option. In fact, 66% of parents with a child in the home agree that a portion of funding should follow students.

The Heart + Mind Strategies’ Coronavirus Tracking Poll has been fielded weekly since March 18-19, 2020. In June, the polling schedule shifted to bi-weekly, with the most recent field dates of September 2-3, 2020, informing this article. This was an online quantitative survey.
