The purpose of the SPN Communications Directors Retreat is to bring together communications directors from across the network to strengthen our peer network, learn new and refine existing skills, troubleshoot common challenges, and encourage each other toward greater success.
Guidelines
- Everything that happens at the retreat stays at the retreat. To facilitate free, open conversation, nothing discussed at the retreat will be made public or shared with those not in attendance.
- During sessions, please be fully present with your peers by refraining from outside work. The daily schedule includes down times for making phone calls and responding to email.
Attire
Attire for the entire retreat will be professional, comfortable casual (nice jeans, polo shirts, casual dresses, sandals). You may want to bring a light jacket for the evening. You may also want to bring clothes to swim or run. Temperatures are expected to be in the 90s during the days and in the 60s in the evenings.
Travel and Transportation
Once you have made your travel arrangements, please email your itinerary to Sharon Milhollin (milhollin@spn.org). Uber is the best form of transportation in Albuquerque. It’s approximately 15 minutes ($20) to the Hotel Chaco from Albuquerque International Sunport. Please let us know if you have a rental car and can accommodate other passengers.
