The California Policy Center is wrapping up its biggest year yet. CPC has led the way in organizing local elected officials for their California Local Elected Officials (CLEO) project and minority and low-income parents to join their Parent Union. It has also launched California’s largest public employee union opt-out campaign. CPC has activated its grassroots game to educate parents, elected officials, and the public about the bright future ahead thanks to this year’s favorable Janus v. AFSCME ruling. It’s not often that free-market minded Californians feel hopeful about the future of the state, but the Janus decision has given millions of people hope that freedom and prosperity is right around the corner. There is a lot of work ahead for CPC, but it is armed and ready for the fight.
