The Roe Foundation grant proposal deadline is October 31, 2019. The deadline and the proposal requirements are the same as always:

The grant format should consist of a 2-page letter to Mrs. Shirley Roe thanking the Roe Foundation for past support, outlining your priorities for the coming year, and including some highlights of successes from the past year. It would be beneficial to mention how you collaborate with other state think tanks in the network (one of the Roe Foundation requirements by the way), and how we learn from each other.

Also, include how your organization communicates to the network of state think tanks your work (information sharing, email updates, participate in SPN meetings, etc.). Please attach your organization’s list of directors and the latest audited financial statements, but refrain from loading up your packet with too many extra materials, books, brochures and reports.

Please send materials to:

Mrs. Shirley W. Roe
The Roe Foundation
415 Belmont Ave
Greenville, SC 29601

NOTE:  Please do not ship these materials requiring a signature for receipt.  This is a hassle for Shirley and her staff as they aren’t always present for deliveries.

As always, it is good practice to submit grants early and most importantly on time! In the past, grants have beenreduced because they were late, and moving forward the trustees will eliminate proposals from consideration for missing the deadline. Don’t miss the deadline of October 31, 2019.

Please note decisions on grant awards will be made in the Spring of 2020.
