Given the influence of the Forgotten American Worker on politics and policy, SPN partnered with premier market research firm Heart + Mind Strategies to help us understand this segment of the American public. We wanted to know more about the values and principles underlying American feelings about trust and their relationship with the federal versus state and local government.
This research can help think tanks connect with their constituents on the ground to be relevant and responsive to the needs in their states and better position our groups with public policies geared toward a stronger economy with increased jobs and opportunity.
Here are some examples of the Forgotten American Worker themes in action.

- Mackinac Center for Public Policy: Commentary: Should Construction Workers Pay Taxes to Billionaires?
Please send Carrie Conko (conko@spn.org) other examples of messaging in action so that we can share them with the Network.
