Rebecca Hodson serves as Strategic Partnerships Manager at SPN, where she strives to identify partners who share SPN’s goals and mission and result in mutually beneficial and fruitful relationships.
Prior to SPN, Rebecca owned and operated a successful media business, launched a non-profit summer camp for foster children, and was a fundraising consultant for two victorious U.S. Senate campaigns in her home state of North Carolina. Her varied experiences working as an entrepreneur and for-profit business owner, in the non-profit sphere, and on political campaigns gave her a deep understanding of effective communication strategies, relationship-building, and the power of grassroots mobilization.
Rebecca finds deep resonance in de Tocqueville’s words from Democracy in America: “Nothing is more wonderful than the art of being free, but nothing is harder to learn how to use than freedom.” This quote is a reminder to her that freedom cannot be taken for granted; it requires vigilance, education, and self-restraint to navigate and fully appreciate its benefits.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys cycling, hiking, gardening, globetrotting, and reading Russian classics.
