State Policy Network Welcomes Jenny Clark as Visiting Education Fellow
Arlington, VA.—State Policy Network (SPN) is excited to announce Jenny Clark has joined the organization as a Visiting Education Fellow. In this role, Clark will conduct and share research on the impact and benefits of various aspects of Education Savings Accounts (ESAs), including: regulatory and rulemaking improvements, appeals processes, and program administration.
Clark is the founder of Love Your School, a nonprofit that helps families navigate and access school choice programs in their state. Operating in Arizona, West Virginia, Alabama, and beyond, the organization helps parents find the best education option for their child. Love Your School’s support specialists help parents demystify and navigate the ESA process, clarify a family’s needs and desires, and formulate an actionable plan with achievable goals for students. Clark and Love Your School are one of the winners of SPN’s 2024 Ed-Prize.
Jane McEnaney, SPN’s Director of Education Policy Initiatives, notes:
“Jenny has been a valued partner to the Network for years, and we’re thrilled to formally welcome her to SPN. As a mother of five and former Arizona State Board of Education member, her firsthand experience with ESAs uniquely qualifies her to offer best practices to advocates and policymakers. As more states respond to historic parent demand for school choice by enacting or expanding option-enabling K-12 programs, thoughtful program design and improved implementation are increasingly critical to ensure the success and sustainability of these hard-fought policy victories. Jenny’s expertise will help SPN offer affiliates and other stakeholders with the best strategies to ensure these programs fulfill their promise for families nationwide.”
SPN is grateful to Stand Together Trust for making this partnership possible.
