I apologize for the flurry of posts today, but want to get all of the info out to you before I’m out of pocket for a few days leading up to/during our move from MI to VA.
As we discussed during our final session at the Welcome Seminar, one of the benefits of participating in this session is that we all come back together to reconnect at SPN’s Annual Meeting in Colorado Springs, CO on October 28-November 1. You’ll have the opportunity to attend as a Generation Liberty Fellow (without having to go through the application process), and will meet another 50 young professionals and hundreds of industry leaders across the country in the SPN network. Furthermore, we coordinate a few DAP specific meetings/networking sessions during the conference.
If you can make it work with your school and/or work schedule, I highly recommend and encourage you to take advantage of this free event/conference. Your registration, hotel accommodation, and flight will be covered by the GLF scholarship to attend. I used to oversee this program and now it is run by the incredible, Heather Pfitzenmaier. I’ve seen her pre-conference draft agenda sessions and it is going to rock!
More information about the program benefits and logistics can be found at www.spn.org/glf. You do not need to apply, you just need to let me know if you would like to participate and confirm your attendance in GLF with me by Friday, July 26th. I will then connect you with Heather directly and she will incorporate you into the logistics and all GLF communication.
