- What’s on your mind?
- And what else (it takes 3 times to get to the cause)?
- What’s the real challenge for you here? Instead of ask why questions, ask what questions.
- What do you want? Identify the root need from their answer.
- How can I help?
- If you’re saying yes to this, what are you saying no to?
- What was most useful to you? Helps you coach better.
