The second article, “9 Ways to Say No to Busywork and Unrealistic Deadlines,” got us talking about some ways that we can better communicate and manage expectations with our colleagues. My personal to do list includes:
- Be better about acknowledging receipt of items and communicating realistic deadlines to my colleagues. (Also, do better on deadlines.)
- Be more deliberate about communicating what’s involved with getting a task to completion. The Comms Team will be highlighting some of the processes and answering questions during upcoming Comms Reports during Staff Calls.
