Hey guys! Here is a bit more information from Rebecca for our chat tomorrow!
When we talk or hear about a “brand,” we often think of a company. After all, isn’t a “brand” a logo and a description of what an organization has set out to do?
In many cases, that’s (sort of) true. But a brand can refer to more than the mission, essence, and look of an organization. A brand can also be personal—the very purpose and essence of you. So, here are some questions for you: What do you stand for and how do you want people to see you? Do you know how to find out, or how to know what might be shaping or undermining the position you have in people’s minds?
State Policy Network’s Director of Marketing, Rebecca Primis, will lead a discussion of what a personal brand is, why it matters, and how to shape it so that you can be a successful professional who has positive relationships, influence, and career growth. As SPN’s Director of Marketing, Rebecca has managed the growth and consistency of SPN’s brand across SPN’s online presence and digital and print content and resources. She also assists SPN staff with developing their personal brands and understanding how to balance their personal brands with the organizational brand they represent.
Looking forward to “seeing you all!”. This will be a fun conversation.
