We’re doing something similar for our apprentice: IFF has the bare bones of a planning giving society, but we haven’t done any mailings specifically for it. I want the apprentice to take the lead in expanding the planning giving society, and making a sustainable system for future years. The other big project I was thinking about having them run was researching, writing, and testing a new donor email welcome series to increase retention. They could research the best segmenting practices, write (at least the first draft) of the emails, and test open rates and so forth.
