- Freedom Foundation asked the US Supreme Court to hear their case, Kurk v. Los Rios Classified Employees Association, which challenges union opt out windows.
- Goldwater Institute is challenging a Texas school district’s excessive fees after a parent was told it would cost more than $7,000 just to get the number of bullying reports filed in its district.
- The Buckeye Institute filed a lawsuit challenging a decades-old tax law that forces the IRS to demand that nonprofit charities hand over the private information of their largest donors every year.
- In partnership with National Right to Work Foundation, The Buckeye Institute filed a federal lawsuit demanding AFSCME Council 8 return wages illegally taken from workers’ paychecks.
- Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty filed an appeal against the City Clerk of Racine, arguing that the utilization of mobile voting sites throughout the community violates Wisconsin state law governing alternate absentee ballot sites.
