Allison Buttacavoli serves as a Strategic Partnership Advisor at the State Policy Network, where she works with philanthropic leaders across the country who share a commitment to advancing SPN’s mission and expanding the impact of the Network.

Allison earned her undergraduate degree in French and History from the University of Miami and a Master of Arts in History from the University of Delaware. Her graduate work focused on material and consumer culture in modern France and its colonies, reflecting a longstanding interest in markets, economic life, and food culture. Her study of twentieth-century European history has also shaped her appreciation for the institutions and ideas that support liberty and limited government.

Originally from Minnesota, Allison now lives in Miami Beach, Florida. Outside of work, she enjoys group fitness classes, exploring new coffee shops, reading, and spending time with her family while taking advantage of South Florida’s year-round sunshine.
