State Policy Network is pleased to announce the launch of the Pathways to Prosperity Prize—a new grant program that hopes to identify, reward, and connect the most creative and promising entrepreneurs across the United States who are working to address poverty in their communities with market-based solutions.

The Inaugural Pathways Prize Will Accelerate Projects that Offer Innovative Solutions to Poverty

As long as tens of millions of Americans live in poverty, they cannot fully support one another in creating and maintaining the strong communities that have made America a beacon of hope around the world.

Yet, the top-down approaches used by many governments and nonprofits often fail to address the root causes of the issue. That makes it incumbent upon those who believe in human creativity and individual freedom to expand market-based solutions to poverty. The Pathways to Prosperity Prize is designed to inspire and accelerate projects that offer innovative solutions to the many challenges poverty presents to our communities.

Supported by grants from the John Templeton Foundation and Rising Tide Foundation, the Pathways to Prosperity Prize will be awarded for the first time in mid 2024.
