Encouraging and cultivating the next generation of state think tank leaders is one of the ways State Policy Network supports thriving, durable freedom movements in every state. SPN’s talent development programs are open to interested professionals across a range of disciplines and career stages.
Development Apprentice Program
State Policy Network’s Development Apprentice Program places aspiring leaders who support individual rights and economic freedom at state-based think tanks across the country. During the 10-week program, apprentices gain valuable on-the-job experience in nonprofit fundraising.
The Generation Liberty Fellowship provides young professionals with a stipend to attend SPN’s Annual Meeting where they can participate in professional development sessions and networking opportunities.
SPN’s InternNet is a national speaker series that connects policy experts, liberty visionaries, and free-market leaders to interns at state-based think tanks and allied organizations. In this virtual forum, interns have the opportunity to learn from thought leaders they would rarely have the opportunity to meet outside of Washington, DC.
