Jesse Helms Center grows online curriculum ‘Free Enterprise Now’
The Jesse Helms Center got off to a strong start in 2020, continuing their annual Jesse Helms Lecture at The Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC. This year’s event featured Ambassador Kay Bailey Hutchison. The Jesse Helms Center also continued its Admiral James W. Nance Lecture Series in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with Michael Rubin of the American Enterprise Institute.
Normally in the second quarter the Center gets ready for its summer programs, but this year, the Center was forced to pivot away from their normal focus. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Jesse Helms Center has put an unprecedented amount of effort into growing their online entrepreneurship curriculum, Free Enterprise Now®.
In addition to their normal pay per click and social media marketing, the Center has embarked on two major marketing campaigns in order to reach students and teachers directly. Free Enterprise Now® is easily accessible for all students and parents who spend a significant amount of time quarantined at home. In addition to their free curriculum, the Center also has a new complimentary poster series available for download on their website and a new Legacy Leadership video series available on their website and app that gives instruction on how to lead through a crisis.
Free Enterprise Now® is more important than ever as the Center believes that the free enterprise system was the greatest economic system before and it will be the best economic system to get America back to normal.
