Joseph Rupert

Strategic Partnerships Coordinator

Joseph Rupert is the Strategic Partnerships Coordinator at the State Policy Network. In this role, Joseph manages donor caseloads, oversees Major Gift correspondence, and ensures that all donors receive appropriate recognition.

Previously, Joseph was an advancement manager at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, where he led an intern team, managed advancement projects, and developed strategies for donor cultivation and stewardship.

Joseph’s commitment to free market principles was deepened at Northwood University, where he studied entrepreneurship and accounting. He also led the NU Ultimate Frisbee Club and the NU Standing in the Gap Christian ministry.

Originally from Montague, Michigan, Joseph has a background in agriculture, working alongside his grandfather and other entrepreneurs. He and his wife, Annaleisa, now reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Outside of work, Joseph enjoys using his Milwaukee® power tools and going on the occasional camping trip.
